About the Author

When Kiki’s friends say, "You’re crazy!" She says, "Thank you!"

Kiki Curry is a Native Texan, born in Waxahachie, south of Dallas.

Developing the right brain, creativity has always been her focus in life. This led to a rather diversified career profile.

An award-winning artist with over 25 Best-of-Show awards, Kiki traveled the United States in her gypsy wagon (RV) selling her artwork. Commercial art commissions included corporations such as McDonald’s, Owens Country Sausage, banks, hotels, and architectural firms and many others. She also authored two "how-to" craft books.

Later she began acting, commercials, comedy skit writing for comedians, and performing stand-up comedy. Her satirical political poetry has been read over national radio by various talk-show hosts, as well as G. Gordon Liddy. She also was a guest on the Howard Stern Show.

Her comedy writing experience enabled her to inject a stream of humor into her suspense / thriller novel, Crows Calling which focuses on an area of Texas the author loves and has visited often — Austin and the hill country around Marble Falls.

Kiki Curry now lives in Flower Mound, Texas with her goldendoodle, Topper.

Yes, we are Texans!
